1963 Chevrolet Greenbrier Sportswagon

1963 Chevrolet Greenbrier Sportswagon

1963 Chevrolet Greenbrier Sportswagon, here we present the first van wagon/microbus made by Chevrolet, based on Corvair chassis with a rear-mounted air-cooled engine.

Like the Volkswagen Bus does, the air-cooled engine was located at the rear and used the chassis of the vehicle's pre-existing Beetle, and was a huge success in the American market.

As a local brand, Chevrolet designed the Greenbrier van as a serious challenger to Volkswagen Bus' success in the American market at that time.

It's about similar technology and the same concept, who are the followers, I think you have the answer. However, it's a very nice classic van.
