Rare Fiberglass, 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB For Sale
Found on Craigslist while looking for a new home, it's a rare car in the US, a Ferrari 308 GTB factory fiberglass body was built in 1976. Not a replica or clone, it's an original example by Ferrari. Originally the early 308s were manufactured in the 70s with fiberglass bodies and only 712 units of the fiberglass version were made, and this is one of them. Sold mainly in Italy, the Ferrari 308 was the successor to
the Dino 246 GT/GTS, which was a two-seater sports car with a mid-engined V8, rear-wheel drive layout produced by the Italian company Ferrari from 1975 to 1985.
The 308 has a separate tube frame with the body designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina, is also mechanically similar to the Dino 308 GT4, and has many similarities to the original Dino.
