Like New, 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Lakewood

1961 Chevrolet Corvair Lakewood

1961 Chevrolet Corvair Lakewood

The Corvair was produced from 1960 until 1969 by Chevrolet in response to the success of the VW Type 1, 2, and 3 made by German manufacturer Volkswagen in the US market. Competing in the compact car class with the same layout comes with a rear-wheel drive rear engine, the Corvair directly challenges the Volkswagen with many styles that were very popular at that time.

As shown here is a Corvair 4-door station wagon released in 1961, all looks perfect inside and out, it could be one remarkable example of the model on the market today.

The PV series quickly earned a reputation for being strong and rugged, although the design was considered outdated from early on. The pics as confirm, all looks has a good shape inside to outside with solid appearance and the engine bay looks clean and succeed rebuilt. Interior looks so classic and unfinished, overall is quite easily to finish it. Very nice classic Volvo project worthy to consider, if you interested please read description below. 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Fully Restored

The Timeless Elegance of the 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider: A Perfect Blend of History and Restoration

The 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider stands as a testament to the timeless beauty and engineering prowess of Alfa Romeo, a marque revered for its illustrious history in both grand-prix racing and high-performance road cars. Designed by the renowned Italian firm Pininfarina, this particular Giulietta Spider has been meticulously restored and upgraded, ensuring it remains an excellent roadster for today’s driving enthusiasts.

A Legacy of Performance and Style
Alfa Romeo's reputation for producing supercharged grand-prix cars in the 1930s and 40s set the stage for their continued excellence into the mid-20th century. The introduction of the Giulietta in 1954 marked a significant evolution in their lineup, offering a more accessible yet still highly stylish and performance-oriented vehicle. Among the various formats of the Giulietta, the Pininfarina-designed Spider, introduced in late 1955, emerged as a particularly iconic model.

The Giulietta Spider, part of the 101 Series produced from late 1959 to 1965, saw only 14,300 Normale versions manufactured. Today, far fewer of these stunning vehicles remain, making the 1961 Giulietta Spider an exceptionally rare and desirable classic car.

Surf Wagon, 1961 Rambler Cross Country Classic

Surf Wagon, 1961 Rambler Cross Country Classic

The coolest car comes in Pinky patina. It's a surf wagon for the owner, the first generation of Rambler Cross Country Classic built in 1961 comes in 4-door station wagon with original paint and interior. Awesome old car unrestored, still runs and drive very well.

Detail by owner
I would like you to meet "Pinky". She's a 1961 Rambler Cross Country Classic Wagon. She is wearing her original paint and interior. She has some warts and scars, but they only ad to her personality and character. The body is pretty straight. The bumpers and grill are in great shape. Most of the chrome is in good shape. There are "p's" on the hub caps for her name. Mexican blankets cover the seats. The seats are tore,except the back of back seat. She has her original six, engine and manual, three on tree trans with overdrive. She runs excellent. She handles very well. She is quite the car. Before her, I had a '69 Chevelle SS 396 clone. Beautiful red paint with white SS stripes. Would I get noticed in it,sometimes. But with "Pinky" people are waving, giving thumbs up, yelling and whooping out there car windows. Men, women, kids, they all love her. She puts a smile on everyone's face. The price to pry "Pinky" from my hands is $9,500. That's a lot of money, but this is not a car to restore. It is a car to drive and enjoy as is. You may want to restore the interior or even put some color on the primer areas, but everything else just ads to her attraction. { I almost forgot. What drew me into her was her crazy drop down roof. That ,and she sits so low. She has been lowered. Look at the pics and see all the amazing things that were done from the factory. The stainless, the chrome, the body lines, the door handles. And the little touches previous owners made. The AAA sticker, the wind deflectors, the compass.}
