1959 Land Rover Series II Restoration
The Land Rover, here's the icon of British off-road vehicles whole of world knows that name. As shown here is the Series II built in 1959 came as a short wheelbases generally known as 88 model has been totally restored by swallowing about 6 years process.There’s need nothing to be done on this one, that’s reflected in the price, and already listed in Craigslist about 28 days ago, still available when we writing here, located in Qualicum Beach, BC.
The inside looks pretty decent, as with many early utility vehicle, the interior features lots of painted metal not covering by carpet. Seats are nicely upholstered in grey vinyl and all looks been neatly finished rebuilt.
Is said like new condition, only about 800 miles on it since rebuild done. As shown here is a 2.25 L straights-four gas engine with 4-speed manual transmission. The owner says the truck drives and runs beautifully.

This truck was 6 years in the restoration process.The frame is a good one, and was reinforced where necessary. the engine has been professionally rebuilt with documents available. The mileage since the completion is very little at about 800 miles, and it drives and runs beautifully. The truck has been professionally appraised at $50,971.00 with documents available on request. Other options have been added since and our asking price now is $55,000.00 Canadian. We are located in Qualicum Beach, BC, V9K 1B5, on Vancouver Island.
Some of the renovations included, SS exhaust system, new gas tank, and sealed, 2.25 engine rebuild w/documents available, brakes converted to dual power servo and dual master cylinder, new wheel cylinders and new Automec (lifetime) copper nickel brake lines, new oil filter adapter billet to spin-on cartridge type, front wheel lockout hubs, new gaiters and shocks, front end converted to Railko bushings and also new rear bearings, wiring changed over to negative ground, w/alternator, new windshield glass (tinted) s/s rear window tracks and some new glass, Safari - tropical roof panel, new front bumper with overrides, new front 'deluxe' seats, elephant hide w/2 retractable seat belts, new rear bench seats (grey vinyl) both sides w/4 retractable seat belts, new tires (5). Capstan winch-original. Other options are also included.
