1959 Edsel Villager Wagon Project

1959 Edsel Wagon Project

1959 Edsel Villager Wagon Project

This a rare American classic car was offered by Edsel, clothed in a 4-door wagon body commonly known as the Edsel Villager built in 1959, is similar to the Edsel Ranger of that year, both are on the same base, such as the engine, drivetrain and cosmetics all is same except the body style.

The Edsel Villager was initially built on a 116 in wheelbase shared with Ford's station wagons, and, throughout its lifespan, shared Ford's wagons core body stampings. The Villager and the Ranger were the only two model names that existed throughout the Edsel's three-year life span as an automobile marque.

1959 Edsel Villager Wagon Project

Though this car is said as a complete project (not running), it looks like it might provide a good basis for a relatively straightforward restoration. The body straight with good shape, has some rust but not major it looks cool with patina look. Unfortunately the engine photos was not included into its ad, cannot be seen actual shape, hope not so far to got him back a live.

1959 Edsel Villager Wagon Interior Project

The interior is said complete but doesn't represented all by the photos, the dash pad cannot be seen covered with blankets, hope no cracking on there. The goodness is all features still there, such as a radio, clock, odometer and etc, though its presence is not as the guarantee that all will work correctly. But that could be a great start to restored overall.
