Limited Edition, 1974 Porsche 914 CAN-AM
Here's we found this one at Craigslist a 1974 Porsche 914 Bumblebee CAN-AM Limited Edition already offered about a month ago for $29000 in Beaverton, Oregon. This a small sport car perform as 2-seat mid-engined with targa roadster style was designed, manufactured and marketed collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche, the name is the 914 and as the pictures is a CAN-AM limited edition 1974 model year. Claims is a matching and unrestored car still in good condition coming with 97000 miles on it, perfect start to light restoration or just as is.Has been repainted by professional, black color with Bumblebee yellow action not perfect but looks fine and not so far from the original, as its owner said. As we've seen here, the interior look clean and neat no tear or crack. Not complained from engine side, no leak seen, hope its runs very well too. Had some replaced parts with original factory trim during its maintenance, overall hard to find imperfections here all looks nice and correct coming with an Air-condition problem. It could be a seriously nice classic Porsche and so rarely seen on the street today.

I purchased this car last year hopping to restore but don't have time on my hand.
This is an unrestored car, although various parts are replaced throughout the years by me and previous owner, these new parts were only Genuine Porsche or Bosch unless they were unavailable. These parts include: New starter, AC compressor, alternator, Bosch fuel injectors, a rebuilt injection harness by Jeff Bowlsby. Many of the door and window seals have been replaced with OEM seals if they needed it. It has Stainless steel heat exchangers, the heater ducts and flappers are all in perfect working order. The brakes are all perfect, cables, hoses, etc. There is no major rust.
The floors are all solid, rockers longitudinals, the doors fit and close perfectly. The passenger outer door latch mount is cracked. The windshield is chipped. It has new wipers, the top windshield seal that meets the targa top is new. It has a new MPS and fuel pump, hoses and fuel lines, filters are all recently changed. I replaced the brake master cylinder and had the pedal assembly removed and blasted/painted. It has dealer installed air conditioning. This car starts up perfectly and cruises on the highway at 75 mph(where legal ;) ) like a dream, even though its only 95hp. It has an aftermarket cassette player and someone cut speakers into the door panels. The paint is not perfect at close look, I was going to have professionally painted but never bothered because it looks good as is for an original classic. Own this classic one-of-a-kind car today and be the envy of the road, these cars are very rare and only go up in value. It is a number matching bumble bee Can-am edition, Limited production model with COA from Porsche on hand ready to be framed.
