This a sports car model produced by British car manufacturer Reliant, as the picture is a Reliant Scimitar GTE was released in 1978 it very rare car in US come in 2-door hatchback body styles, right hand drive and powered by Ford V6 3.0 L engine mated with automatic transmission has 120000 original miles on it. The car has been light restoration, looking for a new home.The pics as confirm, all looks so nice, it's original car. 1978 Reliant Scimitar GTE, very rare car. This is one of only six know to be in the USA. Fresh frame up restoration with light jade dupont basecoat/clearcoat. This is a British fiberglass bodied car with a tube chassis. Utilized Ford Essex 3.0 liter V6 and C3 auto trans. Chassis components are basic TR6. Power steering, power disc brakes, Sony stereo. Converted to 72 spoke wire wheels, included are original Wolfrace alloy wheels.
During professional body was stripped to bare gel coat and prepped and painted using all Dupont products.
All refurbished interior with new seat upholstery to match original door and 1/4 trim panels. New carpets with sound deadner. Also has new dual exhaust system with new stainless steel fuel tank.
This is a very rare and fun car to drive with original right hand drive. Please note that the water under front of car is from washing and there are no leaks!!!!!
