The Mercedes-Benz Type 300 were the company's flagship models in 50's, elegant, powerful, exclusive, and expensive it compete with Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud and BMW 501. Made for the businessman and politician, the Type 300S is a large sedan come with ragtop and incorporated many luxury features.The pics as confirm, all still on original, looks so solid and very nice original shape for his ages. This 1953 Mercedes Benz 300 S "Adenauer edition sedan" is an excellent original car and an ideal candidate for full restoration. The black exterior is very solid and mostly rustfree with all chrome and lighting intact. The full length leather roof was factory installed by Mercedes. The seats are gray cloth, the burlwood dash, doorcaps and window surrounds are in very good condition. Has the original radio. All windows, doors, hood and trunk work as they should. This model came equipt with security glass and interior side curtains for privacy. The underside of the car has some surface rust with some small holes in the rockerpanels and the trunk floor, the frame is very solid. The 300cc straight 6 cyl engine runs strong, the 4 spd synchromesh manual gearbox is manual shift. The factory build sheet is available upon request. This vehicle is one of a kind and would make a great addition to any collection. Asking $ 45,900.00
