This a rare classic 4x4 vehicle produced by the British Motor Corporation. It was designed as a replacement for the Austin Champ to compete with Rover's Land Rover. As the picture is the S4 long wheelbase model come in pickup body type, unlike the Land Rover, the Gipsy's bodywork was steel comes with sophisticated independent suspension, which gave the Gipsy the ability to travel at high speeds over rough terrain.

1966 Austin Gipsy Series 4 LWB 4x4 pickup truck. Has 2.2 litre Austin A70 engine (twin sister to A90 2.66 litre engine as used in Austin Healey 100-4), 4 speed transmission, 2 speed transfer box, full box frame, 16" NATO wheels, ex-military truck. The body does have rust but the frame is sound. Although the truck now have Land Rover Discovery steel wheels, it does come with the original rims and a new fibreglass windshield frame.
