Yes it's about the 912 that was manufactured by Porsche of Germany between 1965 and 1969. The 912 is one of the most famous and successful sports cars of all time but has short production live. This beautiful little Porsche 912 is ready to go home to someone who wants to really drive their car! This 1966 912 is a rare factory sunroof car with 5 gauges and a painted dashboard. The original color was black with a black interior, however the previous owner decided to go with another original Porsche color from 1966, Beige Grey. The interior was upgraded to a brown leather, again using a 1966 correct Porsche material. The engine is a 1965 serial number, it is unclear why but it seems the last owner decided to build a slightly "hot rodded" 1965 Porsche engine with 1900cc pistons and cylinders, original Solex Carbs and 356SC cams, making this car go pretty good for a 4 cylinder. I was told the engine has under 600 miles on the rebuild. There are a lot of little touches that tell me the original owner wanted to update, or retro-mod this car instead of buying a new one. I have driven this car quite a bit and it really drives great! Starts up on command and everything functions and works correctly. This car will most definitely work for someone who wants a totally finished, super fun daily driver. Beware of the thumbs up from other drivers and leave time for conversation at the gas pump, this car get a lot of attention!!
