1970 Jensen Interceptor FF Series 2
Here's we found British sport GT by Jensen Motors hand built at the Kelvin Way Factory in 1970. It's a Jensen Interceptor FF Series 2 were one of the first manufacturers to equip a production car with four-wheel drive, in the Jensen FF (Ferguson Formula). At the time it was hailed as a remarkable development. Press articles from the time quote "drag-strip" performance when describing the car. In total 320 FFs were produced, as the pictures is one of them.

1970 jensen interceptor ff series 2, right hand drive, all wheel drive. Rebuilt 383 chrysler with 3 speed torqueflight 727 automatic transmission. Certificate of origin and authenticity from the jensen factory. All matching numbers, 53000 original miles. Serial number 127 245. It has the original british license plates from day one. The car has letters and service records from day of delivery may 10th 1970. All original except exterior color change from mist grey to blue metallic after complete strip down and removal of doors, lights, all glass, bumpers, hood, etc. Excellent engine, transmission, antilock brakes, clean undercarriage, reliable. One of 320 ff 's made, one of 110 series 2 made. No accidents, few owners, it has the original handbook, workshop and parts manuals. New exhaust, leather interior, it also has an aftermarket sunroof and trailer hitch. Replaced wiring and improved fuse box, replacing the notorisly unreliable factory one. Inoperative cruise control. The electric windows are slow moving. Sporadic functioning of the fuel filler door solenoid. Everything works except ( sporadically ) fuel, oil temperture gauges, tachometer. This is probably due to faulty voltage stabilizer, unable to locate it. The air conditioner is hooked up but needs to be serviced. The car has the dual factory horns that sound great. It has a new elderbrock carburator, fuel pump, battery, and the gas tank was taken out and serviced. This is a very straight, complete, tight driving original ff. Exterior paint is fairly good but not perfect.
