Ferrari Hot Rod

Ferrari Hot Rod

Awesome Custom Build, Ferrari Hot Rod

Found this one superb hot rod custom build being offered for sale on Craigslist looking for $250000 located in LA. As you've seen here is a very nice Ferrari Hot Rod based on 1932 Ford chassis and fitted 18 inches black Alan Lee rims wheels-wrapped Achilles racing slick tires to accommodate its performance.

May with its original frame and chassis the Ferrari has a lot more value than this, they should have a compelling reason to do that, but not revealed in the ad.

As far as we can see from the photos and read descriptions, the engine came from a late 80's Ferrari model a 3.0 L V8 form most likely a Dino engine belong Mondial or 308 GTB/GTS. Just guessing, the car was destroyed by accident so they decided to rebuild on a far older Ford frame and chassis to aim for a new Ferrari hot rod car to get born rather than let it suffer with a replica.

Anyways it really cools hot rod car ever seen here, that was an awesome outcome, and a clever decision $250000 is worth it.

1975 Chevy Chevelle Laguna S-3

1975 Chevy Chevelle Laguna S-3 for Popular Hot Rodding magazine

Here's the third generation of Chevelle produced by Chevrolet was an extensively used body style in NASCAR competition from 1973 to 1977. The Chevelle Laguna S-3 in particular was extremely successful in winning 34 races and earning the first two of three consecutive Winston Cup championships driven by Cale Yarborough.

The 1975 Laguna S-3 was introduced mid-year in January 1975. This time, it wore a rakishly slanted, urethane-covered aero-style nose designed for NASCAR and louvered opera windows. And as the pictures are a Chevy Chevelle Laguna S-3 built in 1975. Considered a limited edition model by NASCAR, the Laguna S-3 was ineligible for competition following the 1977 season.

1933 American Austin Bantam HOT ROD

1933 American Austin Bantam HOT ROD

1933 American Austin Bantam HOT ROD

Here's we found the coolest hot rod custom build based on a 1933 American Austin Bantam, powered by a 350 Chevy Dual Blowers, custom paint & fabrication sic HOT ROD.

Among hot rodders and racers in the 60s era, antique cars from Europe were very popular as the base for their project, Bantam was no exception. Thanks to European antique cars have a lot of things they don't share much with any production car.

Sitting between chassis rails is a 350 Chevy big block, which even in naturally aspirated form makes plenty of power to push the little Bantam down the drag strip.

More than just going fast, like the beast machine under creepy style, about dragster and hot rod mix, you get some beautiful things, and Austin Bantam's period-correct style made it one of the coolest machines here. Not many words, just see and enjoy, please.

1939 Plymouth Rat Rod Pickup Truck

1939 Plymouth Rat Rod Truck Custom Built

This is a very cool and different rat rod truck that was built by "Bears Rods & Iron Southern California" several years ago.

It is a 1939 Plymouth pickup that has many changes except a chopped top. The basis of the build is from a Dodge motorhome using parts of the chassis for the front suspension and the rear plus the 413 cu.in. engine and the automatic transmission. There are many modifications done actually to many to list, to get the real feel of the truck is to see it in person I don't think the pictures will justify the actual truck. This truck has been in magazines and the actual build and finished truck can be viewed on "You Tube". Google 1939 Plymouth Rat Rod and 39 Plymouth Rat Rod (the actual build up w/music). This is an excellent driving and good looking truck that can be driven anywhere it has the mileage to prove it, it is ready to go anywhere fly in and drive home.

The Conqueror 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1RS, Hot Rod Custom

To many awards for this machine, The Winner of the Good Guys Street Machine of the Year and SEMA GM Design Award for Best Hot Rod, both in the same year 2009.

Short Story: July 2008, Jeremy Gerber, one of the owners of the Roadster Shop, and customer / owner Barry Blomquist began to custom build his Corvette, starting with brainstorming what should go into this car. The first they rebuild the chassis. The plan was to build a production chassis that would offer unmatched handling, performance, and a comfortable ride. The R&D on the chassis took about 2 months, during that time they also thinking about the concept and idea to build a modern concept car version will apply on classic car, 1962 Chevrolet Corvette.

Artist Eric Brockmeyer was called in to help with the renderings and lend some of his design ideas. Several versions later, the concept was finalized. The car was then named the “C1-RS”. “C1” after the first generation Chevrolet Corvette, and the “RS” coming from the Roadster Shop.

This a very cool 1962 Chevrolet Corvette custom, as a prize-winning piece of Resto Mod art.
